"THE HEART OF STRATFORD" is a major public art installation comprised of 23 original paintings by Canadian artist Rich Thistle©. The images depict historic and contemporary scenes of Stratford Ontario Canada. Commissioned in 1998, these twenty-three acrylic works were created using sepia tones for the historical scenes and full color for the contemporary images. This installation, an exciting tribute to historic and current Stratford, is permanently mounted across the front facade of STRATFORD PLACE, a commercial-apartment complex in the heart of downtown Stratford, Ontario.
